Mojo and I had a little play last week

There are some fantastic challenges there this month

It felt so good to be scrapping again
paper glue beads and all sorts of bits and pieces everywhere

I made all the flowers, swirls and threaded the beads
took me a couple of days to complete
really enjoyed doing this

I so love the DCWV chipboard that goes with the Green stack papers
I got a little excited when I found them in Big W last week
I'm sure the other shoppers in the store thought
that woman needs to get a life
if a few bits of coloured cardboard
gets her excited



Last week both Chris and I had make overs

not looking to bad for a couple of oldies


Well sweet people I got a busy week
I really should be getting on with

2 lots of ATC's to finish for Friday
a couple of challenges that have excited my Mojo
scrapping area to clean

Work and all the stuff that the kids think does its self
also have an 8 hour round trip to Sale for a funeral
Chris's cousin passed away
not unexpected but still a shock
will be staying in Frankston Wednesday night
going to Sale Thursday and driving home after the funeral
So got to organise the kids and dog
they are staying with Granny a Pa for the night

I'm feeling rather tied just thinking about all that has to be done this week

It's me again!!!!!!!

What have I been up too????
Not much at all
Usual stuff....... washing work a bit of house work
doing the school run
being a slave to the kids....not really but it feels like it some times
Did you Notice I didn't mention the ironing
that's cause I haven't been doing it
now I have 2 overflowing baskets that need to be done
Wonder if the ironing fairies will visit?!?!?!?
and I have been to Kathie's a couple of times
We have had the local show last weekend
Jesse Inni and Isaac stayed
Isaac wasn't all that well but he was a little trooper and went to little athletics
Saturday morning and the show in the afternoon he didn't get to see the fire works
he was just too tired so Jesse and Inni took him home about tea time
Chris me and the girls stayed for the fireworks
It was a great display
I took lots of photos of the fireworks and through out the day
will share a few of my favs one day soon
Chris had a birthday last week
So that's October done and dusted for another year

Did Trudie's class Friday night
finally got it finished today
I so love it
It is a pressy for a special friend I hope she loves it as much as I do

I used artistic license
and added more bits and pieces out of the pack
hope you don't mind Trudie

as I was doing the LO I could see it hanging on a wall
so I spray painted a canvas black and stuck the LO to the canvas

I am sooooo happy with how it turned out

It was a beautiful surprise
I soooo loved them
the only flowers I usually get are the ones I buy myself
so you can imagine how surprised and excited I was

Don't Send Flowers

I am still in the land of the living!!!!!

It's been a bit of a roller coaster ride the last few weeks
A lot of you will know about all the happenings
For those of you that don't it doesn't really matter
I've put it all where it belongs in the past and that is where it will stay
OK moving on
Congratulations to everyone that made the Masters short list
that is a major achievement in my book

I have noticed a few of you mentioning Christmas already
might I add I'm staying in denial for a bit longer
but for those of you who are not there is a
Secret Santa Swap
on Sharons Blog
do stop by and join in the fun

also stop by Kathies Blog
for a chance to be in one of her lucky draws

Both Sharon and Kathie are beautiful generous friends
and I feel very blessed to be able to call them my friend

We....... that is Chris me and the girls
did get away for a couple of days in the first week of the school holidays
We headed off to the big smoke (Melbourne)
We went to the Pompeii exibition at the Museum
the Dali exhibit at the Art Gallery and the Melbourne show
Had an absolute ball loved every minute of our time away
The girls favourite was the Show they really loved the Animal Nursery

At the moment I am cleaning out have started in the kitchen dining/family room
I am using this rule when it comes to getting rid of stuff
If its useful or extremely beautiful or seriously sentimental
it can stay
Boy have I got boxes of stuff to take to the market to get rid of
I am making good progress using this rule
Wonder if I can apply it to the scrap stash???????
my scrap area is in the dining/family room so need to do that
before I can say this room is done
looking at all the stuff!!!!!
it could be the end of next week before it's done

Sadly it wasn't to be

So when I had my girls
I made sure they had real Barbies
Lots of them and all that goes with them
They are all safely packed away now

I do own a few of my own now
I collected the odd one now and again

Another month gone!!!!!!!!!

OMG July has gone
where too I don't know
is it just me or are the months flying by
Blink twice and Christmas will be here
I'm not even going to think about that one

I have been busy all month
Had 2 birthdays
Had my teeth done
Went to Frankston for a weekend
and did a class at Kathies last Friday night
The gorgeous Shell took the class
had the best time
got to meet some lovely ladies
Haven't photographed the pages
so you will not be seeing them just yet
will try and get it done over the weekend

Didn't get much scrapping done this month
think my mojo is hiding under the couch with the dust bunnies
gunna drag him out and put him to work tomorrow
